An incredible view 3000 feet down into the Grand Canyon, with ability to enjoy it in peace. About 60 miles almost due south of here but on rocky dirt roads almost the whole way. The last mile or so is only passable with a high clearance 4x4, though there is a small parking lot right before it gets gnarly. Would only recommend taking the drive for a 4x4 or UTV, but totally worth it for those.
Would make a really fun UTV trip with a picnic meal at the overlook.
There is a decent restroom on site.
Be careful with children, as there are no barriers or guardrails.
